Student Testimony - Issac Lau

Wing Tsun - one of the Chinese Martial Arts; focuses on practical use of all your body parts to combat your opponents. However, WingTsun also gives you the necessary physical exercise - no matter what age you are in. I started practising WingTsun with Sifu Lau for 4 and half months now. Since I started, I’ve gained my self-confidence and have better physical conditions. I can better control my muscles and balances - you will discover muscles that you don’t know about!! I also learn from other senior members of the club (Si Hings) and Sifu about practical defence and “forms”. The friendly learning environment and atmosphere make me feel like working out with an extended family! All the Si Hings are very helpful and kind. They take time to show me and correct my mistakes.
For students like me, it is very important to have feed back on my progression on this martial art. Tests / exams are held regularly to give student feedback on how their skills are advancing - just like regular academic schooling.
In summary, it is my life biggest reward to learn (and keep learning) WingTsun from Sifu Lau and all the “Si Hings”.
